The Answer To Limited & Frustrating Dental Insurance Plans
As your dentist, I know the limitations of dental insurance. Let’s face it, insurance plans are not generous in terms of coverage or reimbursements, as I’m sure you’ve experienced by now. Even worse, they are typically limited to $1500/year, which means that with just one filling and one crown, you’re maxed out. Many of my patients who have exhausted their coverage wind up delaying much needed dental procedures which only make matters worse and more expensive the following year.
To help both my insured and uninsured patients, I am pleased to introduce Doctor Pollak’s Plan (DPP). Here’s how my dental discount plan works:
You pay an annual fee of only $199 to be a member for 12 consecutive months (not per calendar year like insurance plans). A 25% discount will apply to multiple members of the same family – a husband and wife would each pay $175 instead of $199.
DPP membership entitles you to one comprehensive annual cleaning that includes full-mouth x-rays (x-rays are good for three years). The regular cost of cleaning is $240. Additional cleanings are only $100!
If you are uninsured, or if you’ve exhausted your dental insurance, you will pay the same amount of what dental insurance would authorize. This averages to about a 20% discount.

White fillings (2-surface): $250 – DPP cost: $200
Crown porcelain: $1,200 – DPP cost: $960
Porcelain Veneer: $1,100 – DPP cost: $880
Wisdom tooth extraction: $200 – DPP cost: $160
With DPP you no longer have to delay dental treatments (which only worsen conditions and make treatments more expensive). Never worry about running out of insurance coverage, or being treated if you are uninsured!
